Located within the historic West End District off West Fourth St., even though Joyner’s Bar opened at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic it has captured Winston-Salem residents with its fun Prohibition Era style.

Joyner’s offers an impressive selection of craft cocktails, beer, and wine. The interior is quaint and rustic. Meanwhile, the exterior and building itself has an impressive history. John T. Joyner opened a grocery store in the current spot of Joyner’s Bar in 1891. About a year later, the original, small wooden building was demolished and replaced with a two and a half story brick building.
If you are looking to be transported back in time, then head over to Joyner’s for a fun speakeasy type environment.
