Daily Pollen Report
Many people suffer from pollen allergies. Symptoms include a runny nose, sneezing, coughing, and itchy or watery eyes. The Forsyth County Office of Environmental Assistance and Protection’s Pollen Program assists the many residents who have pollen allergies. They monitor, report, and forecast pollen to inform people about local pollen conditions. With this information, those who suffer from allergies can better understand their allergies and manage their daily activities to minimize their exposure to pollen.
Citizen Notification System
The Citizen Notification System allows you to receive neighborhood-level notifications regarding news, street closings, utility repairs, emergency and non-emergency alerts, missing persons, criminal activity, hazardous conditions such as flooding, fires, chemical spills, water main breaks, special meetings, and reminders on garbage collection when postponed by holiday or winter storm. Notifications are sent out based on where you live, so your address is required on the sign-up page. A map pinpoints the address entered so you can verify that the system displays your correct location. You can register up to four phone numbers, each with an option to receive text alerts. You can also enter a primary and an optional secondary email. A verification email with a link to activate the account will go to the primary email address. Update your information and update notifications at any time.
