Kaleideum is an experimental learning museum that will open a new location in Winston-Salem’s downtown in February 2024. The new building, the reimagined Kaleideum, is nearly 70,000 square feet and four stories filled with exhibition galleries and an expansive rooftop. The downtown location will have nine new exhibition areas: By Design, In Motion, Digital Dome, Our Nature, Storytelling, Wonders of Water, and Try It! Studio, Little Learners, and Rooftop Adventure.

Named one of Our State’s ‘Best-Kept Secrets in the Triad,’ Sawtooth School for Visual Art is a nonprofit community arts school in downtown Winston-Salem. Sawtooth offers over 500 art classes in a year, catering to beginners, intermediates, and experts. The school is in the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, operated by The Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County.
